St. Joan of Arc
"Go forward bravely. Fear Nothing. Trust in God.
All will be well."
Can. 212 §1. Conscious of their own responsibility, the Christian faithful are bound to follow with Christian obedience those things which the sacred pastors, inasmuch as they represent Christ, declare as teachers of the faith or establish as rulers of the Church. §3. According to the knowledge, competence, and prestige which they possess, they have the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful, without prejudice to the integrity of faith and morals, with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons.
When the leadership of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati rolled out the pre-planned models for "Beacons of Light," many Parishioners had no input into these plans which revealed the most sweeping changes to the Cincinnati Archdiocese in its 202 year history. However, the new structuring of 211 Parishes, reconfigured into 57 parish "families" including 8 stand alone Parish churches, allowed no time for thoughtful, reasoned, unhurried input and planning from those who will be most impacted by the plan.
Because many Parishioners had no input, we have a duty to make our ourselves heard. In fact, the Church teaches that we have this obligation, and includes this in law as stated above. It is important and urgent that we let the Church leadership know our opinions on the matter.

“Who’s going to save our Church? It’s not our bishops, it’s not our priests and it is not the religious. It is up to you, the people. You have the minds, the eyes and the ears to save the Church. Your mission is to see that the priests act like priests, your bishops act like bishops, and the religious act like religious.
We ask all to pray for our Parishes and priests daily .
Act. Do not be acted upon.
